Businesses considering installing EV charging points for their employees or customers can take advantage of government grants to reduce costs and support their sustainability strategy. The Office for Zero Emissions (OZEV) administers two key grants (subject to eligibility):

Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS): The WCS provides financial assistance for businesses that wish to install EV chargers in the workplace. Businesses can claim the lower amount of £350 or 75 per cent of the installation cost of up to 40 charging stations.
EV Infrastructure Grant: This scheme is available for businesses that rent, lease, or manage residential car parks, entitling them to claim up to £30,000 or 75 per cent (whichever is lower) of the cost of installing EV charging points and associated infrastructure.
